Our story
A team that takes
home-finding seriously
Velora was built around a simple idea: that the process of finding a home deserves the same attention as the home itself.
Back to HomeWho we are
How Velora came to be
Velora was founded in Bangkok by a small group of people who had experienced, firsthand, how disorienting it can be to search for a home in an unfamiliar city. The Thai capital is rich with residential options — but navigating landlords, lease terms, and neighbourhood choices without local knowledge is genuinely difficult, particularly for those arriving from abroad.
We started in 2019 with a single focus: connecting individuals and families with rental properties that actually matched what they needed, not just what was available. Over time, this grew into a structured set of services — from short-stay furnished residences to long-term lease matching and ongoing property coordination.
Today, Velora works with remote professionals, families relocating for work, and international residents who value a considered, personal approach to finding where they'll live. We don't operate at scale for its own sake. We take on the enquiries and clients we can genuinely serve well.
Our office sits on Sukhumvit Soi 24, in a part of Bangkok that reflects what we care about: a neighbourhood with character, quiet enough to think, and connected enough to everything the city offers. That's roughly what we try to find for our clients too.
The people behind the work
Our team
A small, experienced group focused on doing one thing well — helping people find residential spaces that suit their lives in Bangkok.
Araya Siriporn
Co-Founder & Client Relations
Araya has spent over a decade working with Bangkok's residential property market. She leads initial client consultations and takes particular care with families navigating a move to Thailand for the first time.
Kasem Thongsuk
Lease & Property Specialist
Kasem handles lease review, landlord negotiations, and the finer details of each long-term match. His background in Thai property law means clients have someone technically informed in their corner.
Nadia Wieczorek
Care Coordination Manager
Nadia relocated from Poland to Bangkok in 2017 and brings the perspective of an international tenant to everything she does. She manages ongoing care coordination and the network of local service providers Velora works with.
How we work
Our standards and approach
Every aspect of our service is designed around transparency, responsiveness, and respect for the people we work with.
Personalised Consultation
We begin every engagement with a genuine conversation, not a form. Understanding what someone needs from their home is the foundation of everything we do.
Lease Transparency
All lease documents are reviewed and explained clearly before signing. We flag terms that are worth questioning and don't push clients toward arrangements that serve us rather than them.
Data Protection
Personal information shared with us is handled with care, stored securely, and not shared with third parties beyond what the service requires. We follow applicable Thai data protection standards.
Vetted Provider Network
All cleaning, maintenance, and furnishing contractors we refer to have been used and assessed directly. We stand behind the people we recommend.
Clear Communication
We respond to all messages within one business day. Clients always know who to contact and what to expect at each stage of the process.
Local Neighbourhood Knowledge
Our team lives in Bangkok. We know which streets flood in the rainy season, where the quieter pockets are, and what commuting to different areas actually feels like in practice.
What guides us
Bangkok is one of Southeast Asia's most dynamic cities to live in, with a wide range of residential settings — from high-floor condominiums along BTS lines to garden houses tucked into quieter soi networks. Velora's role is to help clients find the right fit within that landscape, based on their actual situation rather than a general recommendation.
We value candour. If a property looks good on paper but has practical drawbacks we know about, we say so. If a client's expectations and budget are mismatched, we address that early. This kind of straightforward approach takes more time than simply booking viewings, but it leads to outcomes people are genuinely satisfied with.
We also recognise that moving to or within Bangkok involves more than finding a room. It's a transition — sometimes involving a new country, a new working arrangement, or a significant life change. We try to hold that context in mind throughout every enquiry we handle.
